Clyde Ellwood Roemer, 91, a life long resident of Elizabeth Township, died Thursday, February 4, 2016. He was born June 2, 1924 in Elizabeth Township and was the son of the late George and Grace Rankin Roemer. He was the husband of the late Susan Blanche Wasson Roemer. They were married for 68 years. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Wilma Zollinger of Clarksville, MI.

Clyde was a retired Custodian for the Elizabeth-Forward School District. He is survived by his children, Curtis and Neil Roemer of Elizabeth Township, Zoe Forsythe of Morgantown, WV, and Evelyn Friend, and Adele Primorac and granddaughter, Katerina Primorac of Evergreen, CO, 4 step-grandsons, of Denver, CO, cousins, Dale Campbell of Elizabeth Township, Willis Abel and Eunice Daugherty of Finleyville, brother-in-law, Howard Zollinger of Clarksville, MI, and 3 nieces of MI. There is no visitation. A memorial service is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
