Bonita T. Carter, age 73, of Pittsburgh, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017.  She was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 22, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Grace Allegro.  She was employed as a school bus driver for many years, loved arts, crafts and painting. 

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Anne (Martin) Slovonic of McKeesport; son, Eric Joseph (Erin) Carter of Homestead; grandsons, Peter (Andrea) Slovonic of Mt. Lebo and Martin Slovonic of McKeesport; granddaughter, Delilah Carter.

A mass will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Noon at St. Angela Merici Church, 1640 Fawcett Ave White Oak, PA 15131, with Fr. Kevin Dominik officiating. Arrangements by Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, Pa 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412-678-6177).
