Robert Roth, age 69 of North Huntingdon, passed away April 7, 2017 at Southwestern Veterans Center. He was born March 28, 1948 in Pittsburgh and grew up in Liberty Borough. He was the son of the late Robert and Mary Roth. He is survived by his children, Robert and David Roth; grandchildren, Samantha and Jacob Roth; sister and guardian, Arlene (Robert) Gorwood, and siblings, Thomas (Norma Jo) Roth, Patricia (Mike) Webb and Sandra (Dan) Durain and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was a graduate of Port Vue-Liberty High School, Duquesne University, and retired after 30 years of service as a general foreman at U.S. Steel. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the 101st Airborne Division. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory, 2703 O’Neil Blvd. McKeesport, PA 15132 on Monday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding and dedicated care given to Bob by the Southwestern Veterans Center Staff.
