Mildred "Sis" Day Leive, 88, of Boston, died Wednesday April 19, 2017. She was born November 17, 1928 in Boston and was the daughter of the late James Duncan and Clara Loretta Hendry Fleming. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Day and the late Mark Adam Leive. Mildred was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Boston, the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens and AARP. She was a cataloger for the McKeesport Carnegie Library for 30 years before retirement. She is survived by her daughters, Karen L. (Dennis) Potts and Roberta L. Cerini of Boston, grandchildren, David (Hataitip) Lorenzi, Connie (Guy) Dulaney, Amy (Gregg) Meadows, Laurel (Richard) Ziskey, and Julianne (Joel) Barnett, great-grandchildren, Emily Ziskey, Ryan Meadows, Katilyn Ziskey, Rachel Meadows, Nathan Dulaney and Tara Dulaney.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Melva Hall. Friends are welcome Sunday April 23 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director.
