Richard L. Caldwell, 76, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Forbes Regional Hospital.

He was born May 30, 1940 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William and Thelma Gable Caldwell.  Prior to his retirement, Richard was an automobile mechanic and a veteran of the Army National Guard.  He enjoyed fixing cars, gardening and taking care of his yard.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Boda Caldwell.  He is survived by his daughters, Kay Sekeras and her husband, Greg, Connie Caldwell, Ginny Guastaferro and her husband, Steve; sisters, Virginia Caldwell Rosario, Theresa Montgomery; grandchildren, Dan (Stephanie), Trevor, Kayla, Brendan, Sierra; and one great-granddaughter, Olivia.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral Home,  Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
