Robert L. "Bobby" Koontz Jr., age 45, of Monongahela, and formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. He loved fishing and hunting.

Born November 10, 1971 in McKeesport, he was a son of Karen (Werner) Koontz of Monongahela and the late Robert L. Koontz Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Sharon (Gerald) Timmerman of Monongahela; niece, Sarah Timmerman of Mansfield, TX; also, aunts, uncles, cousins, other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 12 Noon in Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ralph Prinkey officiating.
