Deborah L. Salmons, age 61, of Forward Twp., passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital. She was an accounts manager for Allegheny Intermediate Unit in Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Wednesday Nite Quads Bowling League and head coach of the Brunswick Zone Junior Program.

Born May 23, 1955 in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of Roger A. and Cleo (Kinney) Salmons of Homosassa, FL. In addition to her parents, she is survived by husband, John Schmeltz; sons, Eric (Kevin "Cam" Armstrong) Salmons and Paul (Kaela Dudek) Salmons, both of Elizabeth; sister, Tina (Bryan) Klingenburger of Fort Wayne, IN; brothers, Christopher (Cindy) Salmons and Robin Salmons, both of Jacksonville, FL; also, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 1-4 PM. No service is planned.
