He is survived by his father, Roger Bass of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; his sister Dr. Jana Lee Bass Cecil, her husband Charles Cecil, and their boys Noah and Zachary Cecil of Simpsonville, South Caroline. Jeff's aunt, Susan A. Bass Bradford and husband Tom Bradford reside in Charleston, South Carolina. He had many close relatives from his mother's side of the family. In fact, we had all been to their family reunion in Florida back in March.

His remains will be buried next to his mother at the Fairview Presbyterian Church in Fountain Inn while his spirit will be with her in Heaven.
