Mary Lou Strager, age 81, of White Oak, formerly of Liberty Borough, died on June 1, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

. Born April 7, 1936 in Braddock, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Wargo) Zuro and the wife of the late Frank Strager. Mary Lou had a wonderful personality and loved to take trips to The Rivers Casino with her friends from The Oaks retirement residence. She enjoyed reading, baking for her family, and an occasional scotch and soda when out with family and friends. Mary Lou is survived by her son, Chris (Crystal) Strager; grandchildren, Elizabeth Strager of Columbia, SC, Andrew Strager of State College, PA. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her son, Brian Strager. Family and friends will be received at the Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday June 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. to time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Pastor Tracy Cox will officiate.
