Joseph K. Fossi, 68, of Elizabeth Township, died Friday June 2, 2017. He was born January 11, 1949 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Adam and Ann Tedesco Fossi. Joseph was a Co-owner of  Fossi and Zowacki Roofing and was a member of the Elizabeth Township Sportsman's Association. He was a US Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He received the Purple Heart for wounds received in action there. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pamela Riley Fossi, son, Adam J. (Sabrina) Fossi of Squirrel Hill, daughter, Kelley A. (Richard Tarolli) Fossi of Houston, sister, Carole (Karl) Bergquist of Rocky River, OH, grandchildren, Audrey and Enzo Fossi,  nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome Tuesday June 6, from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday June 7 at 10:00 am, with The Rev. Jody Dausey, officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the West Newton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at  877-958-2233.
