Nathaniel Maurice Cousar, Sr., 53 years old of Clairton, Pennsylvania, departed this life Friday, May 26, 2017 in Allegheny General Hospital.

He was born March 12, 1964 son of the late Richard and Cherry Jean Thomas Cousar. He was also preceded in death by siblings, James Weatherspoon, , Evan Franklin Weatherspoon, and Richard Weatherspoon.

He attended California State University, was a member of Member of Morning Star Baptist Church, and was a proud US Marine Corps veteran. He was also a former US Steel employee.

Survivors include children, Chrystal Joy Cousar, Christopher Lee Cousar, Nathaniel Maurice Cousar, Jr.; companion, Kimberly Cousar; siblings, Gloria Weatherspoon of Clairton, Gwendolyn Jones of Pittsburgh, Patricia (Terry) Meade of South Park, Charlene (Howard) Dean of West Mifflin, Deborah Wright of Virginia, Janine Weatherspoon of Clairton, Raymond (Dorothy) Weatherspoon of West Mifflin, James Weatherspoon, Jr. of Clairton, Lionel (Paula) Weatherspoon of Clairton;five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church, 307 Shaw Avenue, Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Gloria Gressem officiating.

Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania at a later date.
