Minnie Larono Hefflin Tyree, 86 years old of East Pittsburgh, formerly of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, departed this life Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Riverside Care Center. She was born November 20, 1930 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Wyatt and Ida Bell Todd Hefflin; She was also preceded in death by husband, John F. Tyree and son, Wayne Tyree. Minnie was a former member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She was a loving homemaker and crossing guard in Braddock for 55 years. Surviving are daughter, Emma (Joaquin) Jean Smalley of McKeesport; son, Juan (Mary) Hicks of Clairton, PA; daughter-in-law, Joanna Tyree of East Pittsburgh, five grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Friends will be received Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., 2326 Jenny Lind Street, McKeesport, Pennsylvania, where services will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
