Robert Dal Barron, age 79, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Family Hospice & Palliative Care. He retired as an accounts receivable group leader for U.S. Steel in Pittsburgh.  He was an Army veteran. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. 

Born February 14, 1938 in Monessen, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Zeets) Barron. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia A. (Hatalovich) Barron; daughter, Cynthia (Dale) Kuehner of Elizabeth Twp.; son, Robert Dal Barron Jr. of Bethel Park; grandson, Ian Kuehner; brothers, John "Jack" (Patty) Barron of Belle Vernon, Edward (Joan) Barron of Belle Vernon, Jerry Barron of Normalville, and Ronald (Barbara) Barron of Monessen, also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Kathryn Kachursky, Anna Badzik, Betty Barron, Patti Barron, and Edward Kachursky. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral service is private at the request of the family.
