William Tomko (Uncle Bill), age 84, of Blaine Hill, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital. He retired from U.S. Steel Irvin Works and was the owner of Tomko Service Star Hardware in Elizabeth. An Army veteran having served in the Korean War, he was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth, a lifetime member of Blaine Hill Volunteer Fire Co., and a member of the Blaine Hill Pool Team and Linesville Sportsmans Club.

Born August 14, 1932 in Elizabeth, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Laskody) Tomko and husband of the late Esther G. (Grajcar) Tomko. He is survived by daughter, Susan L. (Kevin) White of Baldwin; sons, William J. (Glenneice) Tomko of St. Cloud, FL, and Robert M. (Lorie) Tomko of Daisytown; granddaughter, Ashley Tomko; great-granddaughter, Halley Denton; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Blessing will take place on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10 AM in the funeral home with the Rev.
