Elaine M. Minnick, 91, of McKeesport, died Monday, September 18, 2017. She was born August 12, 1926 in McKeesport and was the wife of 53 years to the late Oscar F. Minnick. She was a member of the former St. Mary's Catholic Church in McKeesport and was a member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Elaine loved crossword puzzles and Polka dancing. She is survived by her sons, John R. (Christy) Minnick of Phoenix, AZ, David P. (Jill) Minnick of White Oak, and granddaughter, Nicole L. Minnick of White Oak who was the apple of Grandma's eye, and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence J.Minnick. Friends are welcome Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Angela Merici Church on Friday, September 22, 2017, at 10:00 am with The Rev. Kevin J. Dominik, officiating.
