Jacqueline S. Byers, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away, September 21, 2017 at her home. She was born, October 31, 1927 in Braddock, PA, daughter of the late Edward and Helen McKinney Schultz.

 Prior to her retirement, Jacqueline was a bookkeeper and was a member of Christ Church in Greensburg. She enjoyed gardening, reading, computers, traveling and being in the sunny outdoors. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Byers; son-in-law, Clark "Buddy" Wise; and brother, Edward Schultz. She is survived by her two sons, Bruce Byers and his wife, Debra, Keith Byers and his wife, Denise; daughter, Joy Ann Wise; brother, William Schultz; grandchildren, Christopher (Crissy) Carrol; Jessica (Jason) Williams; and one great-grandchild, Gracie Williams. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9-11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private in Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
