Catherine M. Hadad, age 73 of McKeesport, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 in Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. Born October 21, 1942 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Teresa (Mangeno) Surace.

A member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in McKeesport, Catherine currently worked at Scozio's Save-a-Lot in Olympia Shopping Center, Versailles. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, the late Charles Hadad, who passed away June 9, 1990, and her sister Toni Vetro. She is survived by her son A.J. (Tammy) Hadad of Elizabeth Twp., her grandson Jacob Weiss, her brother Vincent (Lou Ann) Surace of Greensburg, and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 in St. Patrick's Church at 10 AM with Fr. Paul Voida officiating. Procession and burial will follow to Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Elizabeth Twp.
