Mildred "Mimi" Pavlovich, 89, formerly of White Oak, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Golden Heights Personal Care Home in Irwin. She was born in Duquesne, the only child of the late Rade and Saja Maystorovich. She was married to the late Peter Pavlovich for 25 years and they were blessed with two children, Melissa (Bob) Weimer and Denise (Thomas) Englert. She graduated from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA and worked many years for Three Rivers Bank from where she retired. She was a lifelong member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church of McKeesport/Duquesne where she was an active member of the Mother's Club and Young at Hearts Club. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by five grandchildren, who brought great joy to her life, Alison Weimer, Stephanie Weimer, Zachary (Laura) Englert, Christopher (Michelle) Englert, Sara Englert and two great-grandsons, Landon and Jace, along with nephew, Nick Pavlovich and niece, Milena Caldwell.
Friends are welcome Friday, October 6, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, with a pomen service at 7:30 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00 am in the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church with The Very Reverand Stevan Rocknage, officiating. Internment will follow at the McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Heights for their excellent and devoted care over the past years, and also the dedicated caregivers from Bridges Hospice for their support and care.
