Mary Louise Julian, age 96 of Clairton, passed away at home on Sunday, October 22, 2017. Born October 16, 1921 in Aliquippa, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Pomphilia (Marrafini) Ross.

A member and former housekeeper in the rectory at St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, Mary also worked at Grisnik's Bakery in Clairton and was a member of the Genova Council of the Sons of Columbus. In her personal life, she was very proud of her cooking skills and her Italian heritage. Mary joins her husband, the late Joseph Julian, who passed away in 1984. She is survived by her son Joseph (Linda) Julian of Clairton; her daughters Eileen and Kathleen Julian of Clairton; her five grandchildren Anita, Jeanette, Nicole Jo, Christian, and Matthew; her six great-grandchildren Alexis, Kayla, Samantha, Dominic, Andrew, and Nolan; her daughters-in-law Kris Julian of Clairton and Jan Julian of San Diego, CA; and also nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her sons Richard and Gregory Julian and her brothers Angelo, Joseph, and Anthony Ross. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700) on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 1 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Clare of Assisi Church. Burial to follow to St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton. www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
