Lorraine L. Wood, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, PA.
She was born August 10, 1928 in Wilkinsburg, PA, a daughter of the late Charles and Daisy Musick Naley. Lorraine was a former member of Penns Woods United Methodist Church. Her first love was her big family. She enjoyed movies, big band music and was known as a fashionista by her family for her love of shopping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Wood; son, Alvin Wood Jr.; and brother, Richard Naley. She is survived by her son, Gary Wood and his wife, Lisa, and Kenneth Wood; daughters, Cheryl Wood, Sandi Dixon, Daryl Ross (Felix Marguriet), Vicki Danielson and her husband, Dave; brother, Charles Naley and his wife, Linda; sisters, Daisy McKamish and her husband, Harold and Mary Jane Faber and her husband Lyle; grandchildren, Frank (Darcy) and Joshua Skrip, Steven, Christina and Candice Danielson, Kate and Alyssa (Michael Allen) Wood. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
