Judith Ann (Carlson) Orendt, 70, of Wilmington, NC, formerly of North Huntingdon, PA and North Ridgeville, OH passed away peacefully on  Saturday, December 2, 2017 at UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, NC. She was born June 1, 1947 in McKeesport, PA and was the daughter of the late Carl "Red" Carlson and Ann (Magdic) Carlson. Judy enjoyed cooking & baking, reading, gardening, bicycling and taking long walks. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Martin E. Orendt; son Martin (Debra) Orendt of Harrison City; granddaughter Mackenzie Sara Orendt; sister Barbara Rose of Pittsburgh. Also several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Karen Samuels. Friends are welcome Wednesday, December 6 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 7 at 10:00 am. with The Rev. Kevin J. Dominik, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
