Virginia M.  Oblack, age 88, of McKeesport, died January 14, 2018, at Jefferson Regional Hospital. Born June 2, 1929, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Nellie Praysner and the wife of the late Ernest A. Oblack.

Virginia dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church. She enjoyed going dancing with her husband, and most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Maryann Kabana of Elizabeth and Cindy (Richard) Ragan of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Jonathan Kabana, Christopher and Alina Ragan; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by 5 siblings. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. A blessing service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Fr. Thomas Wagner officiating. Committal will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
