Brenda L. Chadwick, age 69, of McKeesport, died January 21, 2018, at home with her family by her side. Born March 14, 1948, in Clearfield, KY, she was the daughter of the late James O. and Elnora Faye (Mynheir) Lambert and the wife of James L. Chadwick for over 45 years.

Brenda last worked at Penn State McKeesport, where she was a library assistant, with over 15 years of service. She also worked on the 1980 Census Committee, in McKeesport and was a member of the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh. She was a graduate of the Rowan County High School, Class of 1966. Brenda attended Morehead State University, where she earned a Bachelors degree, Class of 1972. She was a member of the former Immanuel Presbyterian Church, in McKeesport, where she was a Deacon, sang alto with the church choir and was on the Christmas Music Festival Committee. Outside of church, she was the assistant director for the Port Vue Legionettes. Brenda had a passion for music and loved to share her gift of singing with others. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines and Melody Hills Chorus and also a member of a double quartet named, "Just For Fun." In addition to her husband Jim, Brenda is survived by her daughters, Shanna Chadwick of McKeesport, Kelley (Nicole Means) Chadwick-Revak of McKeesport and Erin (Max) Holsingerof White Oak; grandchildren, T.J., Karley, Jenna, Sydney and Eddie; sisters, Patricia Lewis, Connie Staton and Kim Lambert all of Morehead, KY; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, Anthony, Larry and Michael Lambert. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, January 25, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, January 26, 2018, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Brenda's, brother-in-law, Pastor Jeffrey Chadwick will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt Vernon Cemetery.
