Alberta E. Stratton, 78, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at her home. She was born March 14, 1938 in Wilkinsburg, PA, daughter of the late Clifford and Dorothy Bain Common. Prior to her retirement, Alberta was a driver for Laidlaw, Norwin School District. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church, Irwin, VFW Post 781 Ladies Auxiliary and was co-owner of Stratton Saddle Shop.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stratton Sr.; brothers, Kenneth and James Common; and sister, Elizabeth Lewis. She is survived by her two sons, Frank (Lora Moss), Thomas (Beth) Stratton; brother, Clifford Common (Pat); three grandchildren, Alan, Amanda, Steven; and several nieces and nephews.
