Antoinette T. Carrozza, age 83, of McKeesport, died peacefully on January 31, 2018, at Jefferson Hospital. Born September 11, 1934, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Rachel (Delfini) Raffa and the wife of the late Joseph R. Carrozza.
Antoinette dedicated her life to caring for her family. Through the years she worked at the South Allegheny School Cafeteria and her latest employment was with Costco, where she worked as a demonstrator. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, where she was a Christian Mother, a Eucharistic Minister, Usher and a greeter throughout the years. She was also a member of the Palanese Lodge, Italian Sons and Daughters of America and the Christy Park Seniors. She loved cooking for family and friends. She will always be remembered for her sharing delicious homemade Italian recipes, especially her sauces, gnocchi, rolls and pizzelles. Antoinette is survived by her children, Anthony "Tony" (Marcy) Carrozza of Chicago, IL, Donna and Bettina Carrozza both of Sterling, VA, Bernadette (David) Rudick of Elizabeth Twp. and Dominic (Patricia) Carrozza of Redondo Beach, CA; grandchildren, Lindsey, Dustin (Megan), Jamie, Michael, April, Nicholas and C.J.; sister, Virginia (Thomas) Barr of Dunnellon, FL; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Antoinette was preceded in death by her brothers, Dominick and Leo Raffa. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, February 1, 2018, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, February 2, 2018, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church on Saturday, February 3, 2018, 10 a.m., Fr. Thomas Galvin will be the celebrant. Entombment will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
