James L. Felicetty, 89, of Jefferson Hills, died Friday, February 9, 2018. He was born January 9, 1929 in Clairton and was the son of the late William and Bella (Gasser) Felicetty. He was the husband of the late Carolyn Forrester Felicetty and was the owner/operator of the former James Felicetty Trucking in Clairton. James was a US Navy Veteran serving in WWII. He is survived by daughters, Bella (Dave) Hinerman of White Oak and Jayne Felicetty of Jefferson Hills, sisters, Carol (Ed) Thornton of Forward Township, Mary (Frank) Truszkowski of Lebanon, TN, Alice Cochenour of North Huntingdon, and Eleanor (late, John) Berggren of Bedford, grandchildren, Shawn (Chantly) Felicetty, Aaron (Jennifer) Dewey, Heather (Dom) Dewey, and Amanda Hinerman, great-grandchildren, DaJahn Griffin, Olivia Batchelder, Brielle Dewey, Bryant Faulk, Kellen Felicetty and Alona Felicetty, 2 great-great-grandsons, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lois Dewey, sons, Merle, James, Edward and John Felicetty, grandson, David Hinerman, and siblings, Joseph (late, Nancy) Felicetty, Ted (Joan) Felicetty, Isabelle (late, Dan) Harris, Albert (late, Harriet) Felicetty, and William, Daniel, Ruth, Edward, and John Felicetty. Friends are welcome Monday, February 12, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm noon at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 12:00 pm noon with The Rev. Paul Walter, officiating. Military Honors will follow.
