Larry Joseph “L.J.” Swiech, age 64 of Dravosburg, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018.  He was born June 7, 1953 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Vincent L. and Florence A. Zabaglo Swiech.  Larry was a freelance artist who loved working with stained glass and digital art. He was a member of the Visual Art Alliance of Austin, Texas and the Pittsburgh Society of Artists, also known as the Pittsburgh Artists Guild.

He is survived by his son, Brandon Richard Swiech of Monongahela; brothers, Vincent L. (Bernadine) Swiech of Elizabeth Twp., Eugene J. (Carrie) Swiech of Elizabeth Twp., Gregory R. (Debbie) Swiech of Irwin, Norman E. (Barbara) Swiech of Upper St. Clair; many nieces and nephews; and former wife, Sandy Schlegal Rinaldi of Mt. Pleasant.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Nicolette.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177).  Burial will be in Richland Cemetery.
