Charles W. "Chuck" Jones, Jr., age 81, of Port Vue, died February 17, 2018, with his family by his side, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born August 7, 1936, in Port Vue, PA, he was the son the late Charles and Elizabeth (Richel) Jones, step-son of the late Nellie (Hager) Jones and husband of Louise (Helmer) Jones, for over 55 years.

Chuck was retired from Bechtel Bettis Atomic Plant, where he was a welder, with 53 years of service. He was US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Port Vue American Legion Post # 443, Buckhorn Hunting Club, Collegiate Bowling League, Port Vue Athletic Association and the former Blue Rock Club. Chuck was also a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church, where he was a volunteer with the Good Samaritan Food Pantry.
In addition to his wife Louise, he is survived by his children, Kim Jones of Lebanon, KY and Beth (Dan) Mulholland of Liberty Borough; grandchildren, Brandon and Kayla Jones, Justin (Lindsey) and Jake Mulholland; 5 great grandchildren; step-sister, Kathy (Larry) Hays of Port Vue; aunt, Margie Poljak of Port Vue; cousins, nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Jones. Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory. A private family service was held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Hyung Suk Jo and Pastor Jody Dausey officiated. Inurnment followed in the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum.
