John P. Kenney, age 93, of Wilson, died November 7, 2017, at Southwestern Healthcare Center.  Born January 21, 1924, in Chester, WV, he was the son of the late John P., Sr. and Hazel (Jolly) Kenney.

John served as a Surgical Tech in the U.S. Army and had worked at the VA Hospital as a Pharmacy Technician.

He is survived by niece, Kathy (Ken) Walter of Herminie: and nephews, Robert (Linda) Finney of North Versailles and John (Donna) Finney of Powhatan, VA.

Committal service was Saturday, November 11, 2017, in Mt. Vernon Cemetery and was entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
