Dennis W. Mathe, 70, of White Oak, passed away peacefully Friday, March 9, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 15, 1947 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Alexander and Irene Szalko Mathe. Dennis worked as a bander for Precoat metals and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, The Eleventh Ward Welfare Club and the Croatian Club. Most importantly, he was a devoted husband, a wonderful father, and a wonderful grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joy Cecchini Mathe of White Oak, daughter, Dena (Tony) Pugliano of East McKeesport, son, Dennis L. (Jessica) Mathe of White Oak, grandchildren, Mylee Pugliano, Marena Mathe, Nico Pugliano and Camryn Noll, brothers, Arnold and Thomas Mathe, brother-in-law, Joe Cecchini, mother-in-law, Marie Cecchini, nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome from Monday, March 12, from 2-4 & 6-9 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412)672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Corpus Christi Parish, Tuesday March 13, at 12 noon with the Rev. Steven M. Palsa, officiating.
