Jean L. Zalac, age 90 of White Oak, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 in John J. Kane Regional Center - McKeesport. Born May 11, 1927 in Duquesne, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Mihach) Kellar. A member of Corpus Christi Parish in McKeesport and the former Sacred Heart and St. Martin de Porres Parishes, Jean was a 1944 graduate of Duquesne High School, a volunteer with both the Rainbow V.F.C. and Senior Care at Lifespan, and a member of S.O.A.R..

She was preceded in death by her husband John Zalac and her brothers James and Robert Kellar. Jean is survived by her sons Jon (Fran) and Gary (Denise) Zalac, both of White Oak; her grandsons John Zalac of White Oak and Michael (Nicole) Zalac of Harrison City; and also cousins, nieces, and nephews. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Boro, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 10 AM in Corpus Christi Parish with Fr. Stephen Palsa officiating.
