Maureen J. Hill, age 74, of White Oak, died June 7, 2018, at UPMC McKeesport. Born February 27, 1944, in Heanor, England, she was the daughter of the late William Thompson Jr. and Norah (Carpenter) Thompson and the wife of the late Gordon W. Hill.

Maureen was retired from Clarissa's School of Dress Design, where she was a sewing teacher and director. She was a member of Cross Roads Presbyterian Church in Monroeville, where she enjoyed volunteering and playing Bocce Ball. Maureen designed and hand stitched gowns for her niece to proudly attend her dances, throughout her life including her wedding gown. She also loved her pet Greyhounds, she rescued many throughout her years. Maureen had a passion for needle point as well. In addition to her mother, Maureen was one of three surviving quadruplets, one died at birth. She is survived by her sister, Madeliene (James) Henderson of Wilkins Twp. and brother, Michael (Molly) Thompson of Florida; niece, Jill (Sean) Welsh of Monroeville; nephew, Scott Henderson of Wilkins Twp.; great nephew, Benjamin; great nieces, Abigail and Nora. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, June 11, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, 10a.m., at Cross Roads Presbyterian Church.
