Ilene Samons Eckrich, age 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her son's home.

 She was born November 12, 1923 in Coburn Ontario, Canada, a daughter of the late William J. and Elsie (Haynes) Samons.  Prior to her retirement, Ilene was a secretary/receptionist for Shuster Building Components and was a member of West Hempfield Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed quilting and sewing.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Eckrich.  She is survived by her four sons, Greg Eckrich and his wife, Mary, Scott Eckrich and his wife, Debra, Kim Eckrich, and Marc Eckrich; five grandchildren, Brianna, Rachael, Kristin, Lee, Ivy; and six great-grandchildren.  Service are private.  Arrangements made by James W.
