June Marie Salvi, age 91, of McKeesport, died June 20, 2018, at home. Born March 7, 1927, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late James and Marie (Rollason) Stearns, Sr.

June retired from Minerva Bakery, where she worked in customer service. She was a member of the Rainbow Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed shopping and was a thrift store “Junkie.” June’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by children, Cheryl M. (and the late William) Kunisky of DuBois, Michelle (Michael) Banosky of Belle Vernon, Darla (Ronald) Brewster of McKeesport and Renee (William) Teck of Finleyville; grandchildren, Joelle, Ryan, Brad, Shannon, Sherri, Chad, Michelle, Rachelle, Kristie and Corey; 19 great grandchildren; siblings, James Stearns, Darlene Shumaker and Patricia Axelson; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, June 25, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018, visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m., in the Rainbow Temple, on the corner of 536 Shaw Ave., McKeesport, PA 15132.
