Richard W. Plank, age 73, of White Oak, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at his home.  He was born April 16, 1945, a son of the late Wayne and Eleanor (Niznick) Plank.

Prior to his retirement, Richard was an electrical engineer.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and taking trips to his camp.  He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Barton.  He is survived by his wife, Mary K. Henderson Plank; stepson, John Davis and his fiancee, Rose Bonesso; stepdaughter, Kim Davis and her fiance, Aaron Greene; and two grandchildren, Kalina and Elijah.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, Pa., on Tuesday from 2-7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Wild Turkey Federation in memory of Richard.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
