James P. Bongartz, 80, of Whitaker, died June 29, 2018. He was the son of the late Casper and Elizabeth (Ackerman) Bongartz. He is the husband of the late Patricia (Gracan) Bongartz. He is survived by his daughter Kelly Bongartz; sister Alberta Petruzzi, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters and a brother. Friends received Monday 3-8 at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne; a funeral mass will be held Tue. 11am at St. Rita's Church, interment following St. Mary's Cemetery.
