Raymond M. Malinchak, age 82, of McKeesport, died July 1, 2018, at UPMC McKeesport. Born October 16, 1935, in Monessen, he was the son of the late Michael and Helen (Stash) Malinchak and the husband of Mary Ann (Onderko) Malinchak, for over 60 years.

Raymond retired from Westinghouse, where he was a mechanical engineer. He was a member of Corpus Christi Church. Raymond was a US Army Veteran and was politically active with the Democratic party. He was past controller for the City of McKeesport and was a past board director for the McKeesport Area School District. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. Raymond's greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Raymond is also survived by his children, John (Kimberly) Malinchak of McKeesport and Christina (Darren) Tom of White Oak; grandchildren, Vanessa, Natalie and Victoria; sister, Mary Ann (Tom) Rishel of Ithica, NY; grand dogs, Rudy, Armani and Pixie. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, July 5, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 10 a.m., at Corpus Christi Church. Fr. Steven M. Palsa will be the celebrant. Committal will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Malinchak family.
