John David Jones, 67, of McKeesport, formerly of Elizabeth Township, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at home. He was born February 3, 1949 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Dale and Vera Canova Jones. John was a retired Electrician and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He is survived by brother, Raymond D. Jones of Charleroi, sisters, Linda J. Szymczak of Pittsburgh and Della Gooding of North Carolina, and nephews, Raymond D. Jones, Jr., and Thomas R. Szymczak. 

Friends are welcome Friday, April 1 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 1, at 1:00 pm. with The Rev. Jody Dausey, officiating. Military Honors will follow the service.
