Fay (Leventhal) Friedman, 100, of Pittsburgh, formerly of McKeesport, died Thursday, July 12, 2018. She was born January 31, 1918 in Bridgeport, CT, and was the daughter of the late Meyer and Ida Leventhal. She was the wife of the late Milton B. Friedman who died August 9, 2000. Fay was a member of Temple B'Nai Israel and the Sisterhood and Hadassah. She was a homemaker and also worked at her late husband Milton's business, Trust Franklin Press. She was a very kind hearted and generous person. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Steve) Finston of Los Angeles, CA, son, Gary J. (Eva) Friedman of Pittsburgh, grandchildren, Natalie (Brian) Valen, Amy (Blake) Mayer, Michelle Finston and Matthew Finston, great-grandchildren, Audrey and Leo Valen and Levi Mayer, and nephews, Scott and Alan Gassman. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Belle Copeland and Esther Gassman.
Graveside service will be held Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Tree of Life-Sfard Cemetery, Versailles. The family would like to thank Fay's Caregivers, Audrica, Quiana, Janaya, and Peggy for their exceptional kindness, dedication and love.
