Virginia C. Anderson, age 89, of McKeesport, died August 3, 2018, at John J. Kane Regional Center. Born February 24, 1929, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert T. and Corrine (Larson) Anderson.

Virginia was retired from the G.C. Murphy Co. and worked for U.S. Steel in her early years. She was a member of the former First Evangelical Free Church on Jennylind St., in McKeesport. She was a member of the Eastern Star of McKeesport. Virginia enjoyed traveling and shopping, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her cousins, June Hayden of Dravosburg and her son, David, his children, Justin and Alex; Lyn C. Musser and son Brandon; Howard (Cathy) Hayden and children, Jake, Lauren and Kayla (Jim) Fleming, all of West Mifflin; Susan (George) Gavlik and son Justin of Wexford; Wade Deal of Wilmerding; also many cousins, friends and extended family. Virginia and her family would like to thank the staff at John J. Kane Regional Center and Bridges Hospice for the kind and compassionate care she received. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, August 13, 2018, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Don Hezlep will officiate. Inurnment will be in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to the John J.
