Shirley Mae Kosan, 85, of Irwin, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Golden Heights Care Home, Harrison City.

She was born February 18, 1933 in Wilkinsburg, a daughter of the late Russell Roland and Helen (Ault) Taber.  Prior to her retirement, Shirley was the owner and operator of E&M Insurance Agency and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Kosan; and brother, Russell Taber.  She is survived by her sons, Michael S. Kosan and his wife, Lee, Eric S. Kosan and his wife, Deborah; brother, Robert Taber; grandchildren, Lindsay, Nicholas, and Elizabeth; great-grandson, Ryan, and one great-grandchildren on the way.  Friends will received on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon.  A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment in Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
