Charles M. Miles, fondly known to all as "Pap", age 83, of Port Vue, died December 27, 2015, at home. Born September 18, 1932 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Grace (Schoeller) Castor and the husband of the late Jessie (Howell) Miles.

Chuck retired from R & W Oil as a plant manager and he was a US Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a former member of the Bryn Mawr Church of Christ. Chuck loved vintage automobiles. He belonged to the Western PA Chevy Club and the Vintage Chevy Club of America.

He loved being a mechanic, taking his granddaughters to car cruises, and hanging out in the local diners. He was a hardworking man and loved his family.

He is survived by children, Charles Collin and Leonard Jabez Miles, both of Port Vue; grandchildren, Jenna Christine Fite, Meghan Lauren Barron, and Breanna May Miles; great grandchild, Azalea Eve “Zellie” Gouker; and also by special extended family Cara Fite, Heather Williams, Gabrielle Williams, and Nicole Wertz.

Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, January 2, 2016, from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Charles Owston will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.
