Helen B. Emsurak

 A former bookkeeper, she was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township. She was a kind and gentle soul, strong in her faith and love of family. Her sweet and compassionate smile will never be forgotten. Born January 15, 1928 in Broughton, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Katherine (Cheskawich) Levdansky and wife of the late George P. Emsurak, Sr., who passed away October 21, 2003. Helen is survived by her sons, George P. (Elizabeth) Emsurak, Jr. of Chester, MD, Charles Emsurak of Springfield, VA and Paul (Jonette) Emsurak of Elizabeth Township; daughters, Anne (Patrick) Keeney of Charles Town, WV, Barbara Emsurak, at home and Elaine (Edward) Brezovec of State College; 12 grandchildren, Ryan, George P. III, Joshua, Alexander, Emily, Paul, Catherine, Patrick, Luke, Annie, John and Zachary; sister, Stella Godlesky of Elizabeth; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by siblings, Charles, Joseph, Anthony and Walter Levdansky and Anne Belak. No visitation is scheduled for Helen. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 9:30 am in St. Michael Parish, with Fr. Tom Wagner officiating. Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery.
