Laura Beth Kachurick, 53, of Buena Vista, formerly of Boston, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Pittsburgh. She was born June 29, 1965 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of Stephen L. Lieman of Groton, MA and Cathleen E. Roberts of McKeesport. Laura was an excellent homemaker and an avid Steelers fan. She loved the beach, most notably Cape May in New Jersey. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two sons, Lucas Kachurick of Boca Raton, Fl and Jeremy Kachurick of Boston, companion, Bart Sechrist of Buena Vista, sister, Rachel (Stephen) Griffin of Framingham, MA, step-daughter, Jayna Barrett of Greenock, grandchildren, Collins, Eric, Emma and Elsie, uncle, Greg Marazzi of Darlington, and two nephews, Madison and Colin.
She was preceded in death by her step-mother, June Johnson. Friends are welcome from Monday, October 1, from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert Director. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel following visitation at 8:00 pm with the Rev. Paul Walter , officiating.
