Maureen E. McGuire, age 75, of White Oak, died November 15, 2108, at Forbes Hospital, in Monroeville.  Born August 1, 1943, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Mann) Norton and the wife of the late Thomas F. McGuire.

Maureen retired as an administrative assistant from Compunetix Inc., in Monroeville.  Earlier in life she was employed at Scozio's Shop 'n Save, as a cashier, in McKeesport, The Daily News, as an obituary writer and editor, and by the United States Postal Service, as a letter carrier and office employee, in and around Pittsburgh.
Maureen was known by family and friends as a consummate shopper and an immaculate housekeeper.  She was known by her sons as the best mother in the world.
Survivors include, sons, Thomas (Marci), of North Huntingdon and Patrick (Darcy), of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Gavin, Aiden, Owen, Catie, and Liam; granddog, Treat; sister-in-law, Carol (Jim) Decker, of North Huntingdon; niece, Lauren (Dr. David) Apt, of Pittsburgh.  Maureen was proceeded in death by brother, Robert Shaw.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, from 12-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.  Funeral service will be Monday, 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home.  Committal service and interment will follow at Round Hill Cemetery.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.co
