Martha Pauline Theresa (Laver) Stercula, age 87 of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Lawson's Nursing Home in Jefferson Hills. Born February 22, 1929 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Krolick) Stercula.

A member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish and the former St. Joseph's Church Mothers' Club, Martha will be loved and remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She joins her husband, the late Leo J. Stercula, who died December 23, 2000. Martha is survived by her daughters Theresa Minda of Jefferson Hills and Bernadette Coneway and Mary Marasco, both of Clairton; her son Joseph Stercula; her eleven grandchildren, her seventeen great-grandchildren, her four great-great-grandchildren, and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700) on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 2 to 7 PM and Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 9 AM until an 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Clairton.
