The Reverend Herman J. Wilson, age 77, of McKeesport, died December 21, 2018, at home. Born July 16, 1941 in Robbins, TN, he was the son of the late Willie and Sarah (Kayak) Wilson and was the husband of Patricia "Pat" (Ward) Wilson.

Herman was retired from the Westinghouse Electric Co., where he worked as a punch press operator for 27 years. He pastored the First Church of the Open Bible of McKeesport for 30 years. Herman was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
 Herman is also survived by daughter, Christine (Donald) Henderson of McKeesport; sons, Robert (Jan) of North Versailles, James and John of McKeesport; many grandchildren and great grandchildren: sisters, Mary McKennay and Rose Sullinger of McKeesport; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, December 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Bob Fagin will officiate. Burial will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, with military honors.
