Kathy M. Nicholson, age 72, of Dravosburg, died December 27, 2018, at home. Born December 3, 1946, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude (Denne) Laban and the wife of Bruce A. Nicholson, for 44 years.

Kathy M. Nicholson, age 72, of Dravosburg, died December 27, 2018, at home. Born December 3, 1946, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude (Denne) Laban and the wife of Bruce A. Nicholson, for 44 years.Kathy was a retired beautician, she was owner and operator of Kathy's Beauty Shop, for 35 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilliary Unit 380 of Dravosburg. Kathy enjoyed trips to the family camp, reading, and Facebook. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband Bruce, Kathy is survived by her children, Carol (Dennis) Flick of Cincinnati, OH, Adam (Nicole) Nicholson of White Oak and Steven (Holly) Nicholson of Penn Twp.; grandchildren, Amber Nevel, Michelle Bedzik, Alan Bedzik, Giani Petrulli, Dylan Nicholson, Liam Nicholson, Nina Nicholson and Noah Nicholson; great grandchildren, Jaidyn, Jordyn, Jaxsyn, Jetsyn and Athena; siblings, Robert Laban, Denise Lockhart and Barb Judy; nieces, nephews and her loyal pet dog Bandit. Kathy was also preceded in death by a brother, Albert Laban, Jr. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on December 30, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on December 31, 2018, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
