Edith L. Davis, age 80, of North Huntingdon, died February 19, 2019, at home. Born September 8, 1938, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Wendell and Louise (Lamb) Wakefield and the wife of the late Neal E. Davis, for over 50 years.

Edith L. Davis, age 80, of North Huntingdon, died February 19, 2019, at home. Born September 8, 1938, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Wendell and Louise (Lamb) Wakefield and the wife of the late Neal E. Davis, for over 50 years. Edith dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Sharon, PA. She enjoyed camping, dancing, bowling and shopping. Edith's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Lane (Connie) Davis of North Huntingdon, Leanne (Mark) Dragone of Vero Beach, FL and Lynette (Jeffrey) Howard of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Dylan, Gordon, Devan, Victoria and Charlotte; siblings, Clair "Unc" (Joanne) Wakefield of McKeesport, Barbara (Pete) Pease of Washington State and Robert (Karen) Wakefield of McKeesport; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was also preceded in death by her siblings, William Wakefield, Claudia Shegan and Elaine Bartko. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, at 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorial contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmore Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620.
