William A. Bogdan, age 89, of Elizabeth Twp., formerly of White Oak, died Southwestern Nursing Center of West Mifflin. Born June 26, 1929, in Duquesne, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Anna (Kotvas) Bogdan and the husband of the late Agnes Eve (Salopek) Bogdan.

Bill retired as Vice-President of Union National Bank. He was a member of St. Angela Merici Church of White Oak. Bill was a US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He had a passion for modeling airplanes and antique cars. Bill's greatest joy was caring for his home and his family.

He is survived by his son-in-law, Andrew Kurta of Elizabeth Twp.; grandson, Adam Kurta of Elizabeth Twp.; sister, Shirley (Michel) Andreyko of North Huntingdon; sister-in-law, Evelyn Bogdan of North Huntingdon; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Bill was also preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Kurta; brother, Eugene Bogdan.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 11 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Inurnment will follow in New St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum.
